Do you trust me even when…?
Do you trust God in the ‘all and the everything’ of your life? Even when things are looking grey, and the bad stuff is happening, and life looks to be all down and not much up? Psalm 62:8 reminds us that in these times, we should still hold fast to the God we know.
“Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge”.
The place of the ‘even when’, can become a place where we can step into something better, or stay stuck in our circumstance. This is the place where choices are hard, and decisions have big consequences. But if we trust God in these spaces, and we listen to His guidance and obey His instructions, it can be the place where blessing begins. Maybe this is you right now? Elijah needed to trust God and leave the brook when the water dried up, or he would never have met the woman with the jars. Moses had to trust God and face his past or the Israelites would never have left Egypt. What is today bringing you? Do you trust God even when…?
Even when we cannot see what God is doing in our lives, He is working. He has the plan, and He has the blueprints. We cannot see what He sees, nor know what He knows. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. God has a way of walking us through our life situations that are different than what we would choose, and at sometimes seem illogical and impossible. But, He is the God of the impossible, and He knows the way we cannot see it.
Do you trust God in the even when? Even when all you have is an idea of a something of an indication of a next…? Have faith, for He is faithful and is with us even when…
Do you trust Him even when everything is coming at us at once and you feel overwhelmed? Our hope is in Him. He is our rock.
Do you trust in God in the middle of the storm, even when everything is changing, falling apart and crumbling? We are not alone, He is our strength and our shield, in who we place our trust. He is after all, the Great I Am. He’s got this!
Joshua 1:9 reminds us that even when the land in front of us and the task before us may seem challenging, through God all things are possible.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged for the Lord God is with you wherever you go”.
So even when life seems to not make sense, and the ‘stuff’ of life seems to keep piling up on your doorstep, have faith in the God who created the heavens, the earth, and you. Have faith that He knows that you are struggling, knows that you are hurting, knows that you don’t know how to navigate your life right now. Have faith and know that He is God. The more ‘stuff’ that comes on us, at us, and around us gives us more opportunity to seek God. Take the time to take your ‘stuff’ to God this week. Talk to Him about it, and continue to walk in His footsteps, even when…
